Flowood, MS company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related eld who is eager to gain hands-on experience in financial record keeping, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations.

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles and be comfortable working with general ledger accounts, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records by recording transactions in the general
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and
• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes, preparing journal entries and financial
• Monitor cash flow
• Support audit preparations by organizing documentation and assisting with external auditor requests.
• Maintain and update vendor and customer records in accounting
• Assist in sales tax reporting and compliance as
• Perform administrative accounting tasks such as filing, data entry, and assisting senior accountants as needed.

Qualifcations & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or an associate’s degree with relevant experience).

Preferred Qualifcations:

• Internship or prior work experience in bookkeeping or accounting is a
