Company Description
This organization serves as the lead economic development authority for a county-based region, working closely with existing businesses and recruiting new companies to foster local economic growth. The team engages with stakeholders, investors, and government agencies to support strategic initiatives, manage operations, and promote marketing efforts that drive community development.
 
Role Description
The Operations and Marketing Manager will play a central role in supporting daily organizational operations and marketing efforts. Responsibilities include managing budgets, invoices, payroll support, and financial records; coordinating meetings and stakeholder communications; supporting marketing material development and campaigns; conducting data analysis and maintaining databases; and assisting with event planning and administrative functions. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to help drive economic development initiatives in the community.
 

Job Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, marketing, business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, financial operations, or marketing
  • Strong proficiency in financial tools (QuickBooks, payroll systems, etc.)
  • Proficiency in marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, email marketing, Adobe Creative Cloud suite, etc.)
  • Knowledge of economic development principles and local government operations
  • Strong organizational management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds
