Construction Foreman – Site Work, Concrete & Asphalt Maintenance

Salary: $65,000 – $75,000/year (based on experience)
Travel: Some overnight travel required (per diem provided)
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on working foreman to lead a small crew on a variety of challenging site work, concrete, and asphalt maintenance-oriented projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a constantly changing environment, can make smart on-the-fly decisions, and enjoys taking ownership of a job from start to finish.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee day-to-day field operations on construction sites
- Coordinate crews, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient job progress
- Operate heavy equipment as needed (loaders, excavators, skid steers, etc.)
- Manage timelines and adapt to challenging conditions in the field
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications
- Problem-solve and make effective on-the-fly decisions when issues arise
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and on-site problem-solving
- Travel to job sites with occasional overnight stays (per diem included)
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a working foreman in site work, concrete, and asphalt maintenance
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Skilled equipment operator with a working knowledge of job site safety practices
- Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment
- Valid driver’s license – company vehicle provided
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed
