Construction Foreman – Site Work, Concrete & Asphalt Maintenance

Location: Project-based
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000/year (based on experience)
Travel: Some overnight travel required (per diem provided)

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on working foreman to lead a small crew on a variety of challenging site work, concrete, and asphalt maintenance-oriented projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a constantly changing environment, can make smart on-the-fly decisions, and enjoys taking ownership of a job from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations on construction sites
  • Coordinate crews, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient job progress
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed (loaders, excavators, skid steers, etc.)
  • Manage timelines and adapt to challenging conditions in the field
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications
  • Problem-solve and make effective on-the-fly decisions when issues arise
  • Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and on-site problem-solving
  • Travel to job sites with occasional overnight stays (per diem included)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a working foreman in site work, concrete, and asphalt maintenance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Skilled equipment operator with a working knowledge of job site safety practices
  • Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment
  • Valid driver’s license – company vehicle provided
  • Willingness to travel overnight as needed
