Our located in Flowood, MS is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This position offers hands-on experience across multiple areas of accounting and the opportunity to work directly with experienced finance leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed
Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (internship experience considered)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
