Accounting Clerk

Job Description

Our client is seeking an individual to join their team on a temporary basis to support during a high-volume period and assist with clearing a tax season backlog due to a staffing shortage.

Assignment Details:

  • Duration: Approximately 3 months, with potential to extend or shorten based on business needs
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the team
  • Assist with accounting-related tasks and help bridge gaps within the department
  • Manage and support small to large projects as needed
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Office skills to track, organize, and report on data
  • Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email when necessary
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and assist wherever needed

Job Requirements

 

  • Prior corporate experience required; accounting or finance background strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
