Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Cash Accountant to support our healthcare finance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing bank reconciliations across multiple healthcare entities, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and collaborating with both internal and field accounting teams to support financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple healthcare entities
· Collaborate with accounting staff to verify and document bank transactions
· Communicate with field and accounting staff to resolve discrepancies and clarify transaction details
· Partner with the cash management team to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all cash accounts
· Assist with other reconciliation and audit-related duties as assigned
· Support Staff Accountants with healthcare-specific financial reports and projects
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Experience with bank reconciliations in a healthcare or multi-entity environment
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
· General knowledge bookkeeping practices
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation)
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with Sage Intacct or other accounting software programs
· Experience working in a HIPAA-compliant environment
