Leading distributor committed to delivering quality beverages with outstanding service. We’re seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor with an Accounting background to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises/audits periodic inventory counts. (Products/cooperage/dunnage)
• Collaborate closely with warehouse and procurement teams to investigate and resolve variances.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, specifically related to inventory and payables.
• Maintain organized financial records and assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Analyze warehouse-related financial data to help improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Assists accounting with filing and collection of product damage claims with suppliers and shippers/haulers (freight) including cooperage & dunnage.
• Periodically negotiates & reviews shipping terms with freight companies.
• Develop and oversee a system where all outbound transfers are documented and recorded in VIP including securing collection for transfers in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with emphasis on inventory control and/or warehouse operations.
• Experience in accounts payable and reconciliations.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with inventory and warehouse systems is a plus (e.g., VIP, WMS).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
