Litigation Attorney
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to join a growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take on meaningful responsibility and work on complex, high-impact cases across a variety of practice areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of litigation matters, including commercial, insurance, municipal, and other civil litigation matters
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and appeals as needed
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and negotiations
- Provide strategic legal counsel and risk assessments to clients
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop effective case strategies
- Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Litigation experience (government, insurance, etc.)
- Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Licensed and in good standing with the state bar
