We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities: - Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any maintenance needs - Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery and replacing worn parts - Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments - Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues - Weld and fabricate metal components as needed - Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks
Experience: - Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance procedures and practices - Experience with field service work in an industrial setting - Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including working with schematics and industrial control systems such as logic controllers - Familiarity with hydraulic systems and components - Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions - Experience with stick welding is preferred but not required
