Assist Accounting Manager and Controller with day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, financial reporting, product costing, and results analysis.
Assist in monitoring, analyzing, preparing and reporting financial performance.
Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts, fixed assets and inventory-related accounts
Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed
Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting

Job Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor Degree or equivalent; preferably in Accounting, Finance or other closely related field.
5-10 years of progressive accounting experience (public or private accounting).
Knowledge of accounting/auditing principles and practices.
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Expert technology and computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
Physical Requirements
Typical office environment utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
Frequently sit for long periods.
