A well-established and growing organization, is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead their accounting team and oversee day-to-day financial operations. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader with a strong technical accounting background and a passion for process improvement and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions
Manage month-end and year-end close processes and prepare financial statements
Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
Partner with leadership to support strategic financial decisions
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP)
